How it works

Recognising a word is the easy half.

Nolelo is built for the other half: getting it into what you say and write.

  1. Capture

    Select a word on your Mac and press ⌥⌘D, or share it from any app on iPhone. Nolelo saves it with the sentence you found it in and its meaning.

  2. Review

    Spaced repetition brings each word back just before you would forget it. The daily plan fits five minutes and stops on time; whatever is left waits for tomorrow.

  3. Use

    Short rewrite prompts ask you to put the words you know but never use into sentences of your own, and give you feedback on what you wrote.
